Keep Your Nonprofit Donors Engaged
As a nonprofit coach, I enjoy sharing and teaching others how to successfully run a startup nonprofit organization. Many are able to start a nonprofit but often loose the momentum and dedication to run it. It takes a lot more work than you think. Running a nonprofit is much like running a for-profit business.
Today, I will be sharing helpful tips on how to capture your potential donors year round and hopefully land you monthly and annual contributions.
Call to Action
Call to Action (CTA) are buttons you use in your website and on your landing page to guide users towards your goal conversion. You want to change site visitors into subscribers for your newsletters and blogs. Offer a free download of an e-book or an exclusive offer for a product you offer. I promise this will help to grow your nonprofit and help create brand ambassadors for your organization.
Keep Everyone in the Loop
Don’t just ask for money from potential donors. Do send weekly or at least monthly newsletters to let your subscribers now how things are going. It’s great to keep donors engaged by sharing pictures of your events and/or activities. Sharing how the donated funds are being used to build the community in which you serve. Make sure you’re sharing those success stories. You want to build a rapport with donors and you need their trust if you want them to continue to fund your mission.
