Guest Blogging Opportunities for Nonprofits

When I started my nonprofit organization I wanted to find innovative ways to reach people locally, nationally, and globally. Although my focus is in North Texas urban communities; a part of me believes in reaching people around the world. I believe that I was called to go to the nations and bring about change for generations.

One of the ways I’ve been able to reach a broader audience is by inviting other bloggers to write, articles for my nonprofit website www.majesticdaughtersempowerment.com. Since the launch of North Texas Majestic Daughters Empowerment, I don’t have as much time to blog on a consistent basis. By inviting others to write it freed up my time to focus on the logistics and business matters for the nonprofit.

A couple of months ago, I posted a call to action on social media and sent a blast email that we were looking for writers for the website. We received an overwhelming response of women and men wanting to write and share their truth.

Bringing on other writers was a marketing tool that helped with building credibility and awareness in the community in which we serve and around the world. We have writers all over the United States and even in Africa. Isn’t that amazing?!

In the short time of launching this initiative we have gained new readers which drives traffic to our website. People are reading the content and even signing up for the workshops.

Brand awareness is all about exposing your name and keeping it on the hearts of people daily. The more people see your nonprofit name the more they will want to click and read more about your organization and want to join the cause.

Are you just launching a nonprofit or already established? I would highly recommend adding a blog tab and allowing others to showcase their expertise of a particular subject on your website. This partnership brings exposure to your organization and the inspiring writer.

This was one of the things I added to my vision board last year. I wanted to inspire future bloggers. Today, as I look back on what was simply a vision to being my reality is mind blowing. If you write the vision and make it plain, I’m crazy enough to believe that God will manifest the vision in due season.

One of the weaknesses for a startup nonprofit is building credibility and brand awareness to potential donors and sponsors. This is one way as the Founder & CEO of North Texas Majestic Daughters Empowerment that I have been in successful in securing funding and donations to continue to aid the vision which God has given me.

I hope this information will help you in being successful as you catapult into the next dimension of being an innovative leader in the nonprofit sector.
